Fred Rosen
A former columnist for the Arts and Leisure Section of the New York Times, Fred Rosen is a veteran true crime and history author of 24 published books, including Lobster Boy. Film rights to that book have been bought by movie star Sam (Avatar) Worthington's A Full Clip Productions. Screenwriter Shane T. Hall has written the script.
Producer/writer Mike Powell bought the rights to Mr. Rosen's There But For the Grace of God: Survivors of the 20th Century's Infamous Serial Killers and has written the script. Mr. Rosen can be seen regularly on the Investigation Discovery Channel, as an on-air true crime expert. He has seven shows in the can for the Evil Kin, Evil Twins and Deadly Sins TV shows, that will begin unspooling this August. He is also on Dateline NBC August 1, in connection with his book Trails of Death, about serial killer Gary Hilton.
He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Film at the New York Institute of Technology. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor of Journalism at Hofstra University. Extremely proud to have earned his Master of Fine Arts in Cinema from the legendary film school at the University of Southern California, Mr. Rosen has just written the script for a new reality TV series. He is producing the pilot.
